Do you clean windows in the rain?

Yes — light rain is no problem at all. Our purified-water system rinses the glass with water that contains no dissolved minerals, so there is nothing left behind to leave spots or smears. Rain actually helps by continuing to rinse the glass after we leave. We only pause work in heavy downpours or lightning.

How often will my windows be cleaned?

Most domestic customers choose a 4-week or 8-week round. Four weeks is our most popular frequency because it prevents significant build-up of dirt, traffic film and algae. Customers who prefer 8-week visits still get excellent results, especially those in quieter, rural locations. We can also accommodate one-off cleans or a frequency that suits your schedule.

Do I need to be at home?

No — because we only clean the exterior of your windows, there is no need for you to be in. We work around the outside of the property, leave everything tidy, and send you a notification when we are done. Many of our customers are out at work when we call.

Will I receive a reminder?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We send a text message and email reminder before every scheduled visit so you are never caught off guard. If you need to reschedule, you can reply to the reminder and we will rearrange with no fuss.

What happens if the gate is locked?

Accepted Answer

If we cannot access the rear of the property, let us know in advance and we will make alternative arrangements — for example, leaving a key with us or arranging a time when you are home. A missed visit due to a locked gate may be charged at our standard rate, so please get in touch if your access arrangements change.

What time do you arrive and how long does a clean take?

We aim to give an approximate arrival window on the day of your clean. Most standard domestic window cleans take between 20 and 45 minutes depending on property size. Larger detached homes or properties with conservatories or extensions may take longer. We always make sure the job is done properly rather than rushing.

Can I skip or pause my regular clean?

Of course — just let us know before we are due and we will move you to the next scheduled visit. There is no penalty for an occasional skip. If you are going away for an extended period, we can suspend your round and restart when you are back.

How do I pay?

We invoice after each clean. You can pay by bank transfer, card or cash — whichever is most convenient. We send the invoice by email with full payment details. We do not require payment in advance, and there are no hidden charges or call-out fees.

Is the calculator price guaranteed?

The online calculator gives you a reliable starting estimate based on your property size, storey count and chosen frequency, but it is not a fixed quote. We confirm the exact price after a quick review of the property — usually by checking on our first visit. The final price is then locked in for your regular round with no unexpected increases.

Yes. Customers who join a regular 4-week or 8-week round benefit from lower per-clean pricing compared with occasional or one-off visits. Regular cleaning also keeps the windows in better condition, which means less effort per visit and consistently better results.

Are there any additional charges I should know about?

We price transparently. For window cleaning, the quoted price covers all exterior glass, frames, cills and casements — front and back. For gutter clearing, downpipe flushing is included as standard. There are no call-out fees, no fuel surcharges and no surprises on the invoice.

Do you clean inside windows?

Our standard service covers exterior windows only, which suits the majority of our customers. Interior window cleaning can sometimes be arranged separately on request — please get in touch to discuss and we will let you know whether we can accommodate it for your property.

Do you use ladders?

For most properties we use a professional water-fed pole system that allows us to clean from the ground. This is safer for our team, avoids any risk of damage to gutters or fascias from ladder placement, and allows us to reach higher windows more effectively. On certain properties where pole access is restricted, we may use ladders with appropriate safety measures in place.

How does the water-fed pole system work?

Pure water is filtered through a multi-stage purification system to remove all dissolved minerals and impurities — achieving zero parts per million (0 ppm). This ultra-pure water is fed through a telescopic carbon-fibre pole and applied to the glass and frames with a soft brush agitation. Because the water is 100% pure, it leaves no residue when it dries, resulting in a spotless, streak-free finish without any detergents or squeegees.

Are you insured?

Yes — we carry full public liability insurance. We are a fully employed team, not subcontractors, which means every member of staff working on your property is covered under our company policy. We are happy to provide proof of insurance on request.

Yes. We clean a range of commercial premises across North Somerset including offices, retail units, apartment blocks, schools and leisure facilities. Commercial work is priced separately and can be tailored to your access requirements and preferred scheduling — including early mornings or weekends to minimise disruption.

Yes — window cleaning is just one of the services we offer. Many customers book a combination of services in a single visit, which is more convenient and often more cost-effective.

Yes. A significant part of our work is in rural North Somerset and the Mendip villages. We serve properties in Cheddar, Axbridge, Bleadon, Hutton, Banwell, Winscombe, Congresbury, the Chew Valley villages and many surrounding areas. Rural properties are very welcome and we are experienced in working with larger, more complex homes.
